Dr David Lieu B.Sc(Med), MBBS, FRACS(Orth), FAOrthA Shoulder, Elbow, Knee, Trauma Surgeon

Dr David Lieu is a specialist shoulder, elbow and knee surgeon. He completed his orthopaedic training in 2013 through the Australian Orthopaedic Association, with further postgraduate training with the Prince of Wales & Concord Hospital Shoulder & Elbow Fellowship.

He has a keen interest in all sports and age-related conditions of the shoulder, elbow and knee, and is proficient in arthroscopic and open surgery for most conditions. He also has a special interest in robotic knee replacement surgery through Campbelltown Private Hospital.

He is the current Head of Department of both Liverpool and Fairfield Hospitals and is the director of the Whitlam Joint Replacement Centre. He is heavily involved in education and training. He is a Conjoint Lecturer with the UNSW Medical School and is also a Trainee Supervisor for the Australian Orthopaedic Association. He has been a faculty member for local and international meetings, as well as sitting on various committees to improve health care delivery across NSW.

He is also a SIRA approved permanent impairment assessor through the NSW workers compensation scheme.

His priority is to ensure his patients are well informed and can make educated decisions on how to manage their condition.

He consults out of Liverpool, Gregory Hills, Campbelltown and Concord.
