Medicare Patients

Dr Lieu treats public patients through Liverpool and Fairfield Hospitals. Through Medicare, there are no out of pocket costs for the surgery and sometimes the post-operative rehabilitation.

There is however a waiting list for surgery which may be up to 12 months. Surgery may also be performed by training registrars or a doctor other than Dr Lieu.
