If you have an injury covered by Workcover or CTP, you will need pre-approval for your appointment. Please confirm this with your claims manager.
Any surgery will also require approval before it can be booked. Approval for surgery can take up to 20 business days, although urgent cases can usually be approved earlier.
You may also be eligible to apply for assistance with homecare duties, aids, and travel. This will be discussed with you prior to surgery as well.
You will also need to ensure that your post-operative rehabilitation is also pre-approved to avoid any delays in your recovery.
